The Istituto Affari Internazionali is pleased to invite you to participate in the public event “G7 & Development Cooperation: Policy Priorities and Public Attitudes“, to be held in Rome on 15 April from 10.00 to 12.00 at the IAI premises.
The event is part of the project “A new agenda for development: the role of development cooperation in the Italian G7 Presidency“, which IAI is carrying out in partnership with Focus 2030 and Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo. The event will be co-organised by Think7 and Civil7, two official engagement groups of the Italian G7 Presidency.
The goal of the project is to promote a broader debate on development cooperation in Italy, particularly in light of the challenges posed by an international context as complex as the current one. The aim of the event is to discuss the role of development cooperation within the G7 policy agenda. During the event, a comparative analysis of public attitudes towards development cooperation across some of the G7 countries will be presented and discussed.
The event will be opened by Stefano Gatti, Director General for Development Cooperation at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be followed by a panel with think tanks, Civil Society Organizations and policy makers.
