On 1 January 2023, Japan assumed the G7 Presidency. The Japan Civil Society Coalition on G7 Summit 2023 has been acknowledged by the Japanese Government to coordinate the Civil 7 (C7) process. The coalition aims to establish a dialogue between civil society and the G7 governments and inform the outcomes of the 2023 G7 Summit.
To introduce this process and provide a space for discussion, we invite you to attend the International C7 Kick-off on 24th January 2023. At the event, you will have the chance to meet the C7 Steering Committee and find out more about this year’s C7 Working Groups.
Participation in the Working Groups is open for international civil society and is not limited to actors from G7 countries. The event is open to everyone who is interested in C7, especially those who want to join one or more Working Groups.
