GCAP Italy/Global Health Italian Network

Stefania Burbo has been working as focal point and advocacy officer for the Global Health Italian Network [1] since 2004. The Network is composed of civil society organizations promoting the right to health, focusing on countries with greater difficulty in accessing health care. From 2017 to 2022, she was co-spokesperson of GCAP – Global Call to Action against Poverty Italy. The Coalition is an expression of the largest global civil society movement, calling for an end to poverty and inequality, promoting the adoption of sustainable policies that respect human rights, dignity, gender equality, social and environmental justice, within the framework of the 2030 Agenda. Stefania Burbo graduated in Political Science and has worked in the field of iinternational cooperation since 1997. She started working in sub-Saharan Africa in both development and emergency projects.
