Riccardo Moro

Riccardo Moro is the Secretary General of LVIA, an Italian Ngo particularly active in Africa, and represents GCAP Italy in several spaces at the international level. He is the current C7 Chair and served in 2021 as C20 Sherpa, during the Italian presidency of the G20. After 2021 he has been member of the C20 International Advisory Committee.ย He has been also the Global Chair of GCAP (Global Call for Action against Poverty), one of the widest international civil society network. Between 2013 and 2019 he worked in Peru, appointed by the Italian government as Executive Director of the Italy-Peru Debt Swap Fund, the biggest debt-for-development swap fund in the world.
Riccardo teaches Development Politics and Foundations of Economics at the University of Milan and has taught international politics and international economics at several institutions in Africa and Latin America.
