Five-year degree in Agricultural Sciences (UNIPI), Diploma at the School of Advanced Studies Sant’Anna in Pisa and Master’s Degree in Tropical Agricultural Sciences (Leuven-la-Neuve Belgium). Currently I’m the LVIA Strategic Director, I have 24 years of experience in international cooperation, management and coordination of teams in Africa and Italy. I support a transformative rights-based vision implemented through both projects and advocacy work. After 7 years in the field between Tanzania and Ethiopia as agronomist and LVIA Country Manager, I served for 2 years as Policy Advisor in East Africa, before engaging in program coordination and management from LVIA headquarters. In the European NGO network CIDSE, I participate in the working group on resilience and food sovereignty, and in Italy with contributions in dialogues on responsible investments in agriculture and strengthening the nexus between humanitarian action and resilience. Member since 2019 of the Italian working group on agro-ecology that gave rise to Azione Terrae: coalition for agro-ecological transition. Since 2021 I am Focal point of Link 2007 on Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems
