Francesco Aureli is currently a Consultant on International Cooperation with WHO and other entities. Francesco Aureli has been working in the sector of International Development, Public Health and Migration for the last 28 years. He is now based between Rome and Geneva. Prior to this, he worked as the CEO of Beyond Borders and the Director of the Center for Migration of the Ortygia Business School. He is a former Senior Advisor at Women Deliver and at the Italian Prime Minister G7 Office on Migration, Health and Gender Equality. He worked in New York as Save the Children’s Representative to the United Nations and in London as Save the Children’s Representative to the International Institutions. Previously he worked for several years in Developing Countries, undertaking positions with governmental and non-governmental organisations in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America. He was Director General of the African Medical and Research Foundation in Italy, and for the past few years he has also been widely involved with the work of the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH).
